MH CET Syllabus 2025: The CET Cell Maharashtra has released the MH CET 3-year LLB syllabus and the MH CET 5-year LLB syllabus in a MH CET Law 2025 notification. The CET Cell is likely to conduct the MH CET Law 2025 in March. Candidates looking forward to appearing in the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Law must note that the LLB CET Syllabus 2025 has been revised.

While there is not much difference in the MH CET 3-year LLB and MH CET 5-year LLB Syllabus, it is advisable to check the MHCET Law Syllabus 2025 before beginning your preparation. The MH CET Law 2025 will be conducted for admission to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB at colleges accepting MH CET 2025

MH CET Law 2025 Syllabus for 3-Year LLB Program

The MHCET 3 year LLB syllabus program includes the following sections:

1. Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning:
   - Basic principles of law
   - Constitution of India
   - Legal reasoning and analytical ability
   - Landmark judgments and legal precedents

2. General Knowledge and Current Affairs:
   - Important events in India and the world (national and international)
   - Indian history, polity, economy, and geography
   - General science and technology
   - Major developments in sports, arts, and culture
   - Recent legal developments, bills, and amendments

3. Logical and Analytical Reasoning:
   - Deductive and inductive reasoning
   - Puzzles, seating arrangements, syllogisms, and analogies
   - Series, coding-decoding, and relationships
   - Blood relations, directions, and clocks

4. English Language:
   - Reading comprehension
   - Vocabulary
   - Grammar and usage
   - Sentence formation and correction
   - Synonyms and antonyms

5. Mathematical Aptitude (Basic Level):
   - Simple mathematics and arithmetic
   - Percentage, ratio and proportion, profit and loss
   - Simple and compound interest, speed and distance
   - Data interpretation and analysis

MH CET Law 2025 Syllabus for 5-Year LLB Program

The MH CET law 5 years syllabus program will have a similar structure to the 3-year program but with a greater emphasis on legal knowledge. The sections include:

1. Legal Aptitude and Legal Reasoning:
   - Legal principles and their application
   - Judicial decisions, case studies, and basic legal concepts
   - Constitutional law, contracts, torts, and criminal law
   - Law of contracts, family law, legal ethics, and environmental law

2. General Knowledge and Current Affairs:
   - National and international events
   - Current legal affairs, government schemes, and policies
   - Indian history, culture, and geography
   - Major judicial decisions, bills, and legal reforms

3. Logical and Analytical Reasoning:
   - Reasoning questions involving pattern recognition, puzzles, analogies, etc.
   - Verbal and non-verbal reasoning
   - Data interpretation and logic-based reasoning

4. English Language:
   - Reading comprehension (passages based on legal topics)
   - Vocabulary and grammar
   - Sentence completion, correction, and reasoning through language
   - Critical thinking and understanding of legal texts

5. Mathematical Aptitude:
   - Basic arithmetic and mathematical questions
   - Time and work, speed and distance, probability, and data interpretation

Both the MH CET 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB syllabi focus on testing the candidate’s ability to apply legal concepts, understand current affairs, and reason logically. However, the 5-year LLB syllabus often includes a deeper understanding of legal subjects and theories to prepare students for a longer, more intensive study of law.

MHCET Law Marking Scheme 2025

The marking scheme for the MH CET Law 2025 exam is as follows:

Correct Answer: Each correct response will earn the candidate 1 mark.
No Negative Marking: There is no penalty for incorrect answers, meaning no marks will be deducted for wrong attempts.
Unanswered Questions: Candidates will receive no marks (neither positive nor negative) for questions that are left unanswered.

This scheme encourages candidates to attempt all questions without the risk of losing marks for incorrect answers.
