2 Days To Go for ATMA July 2025 Exam: Analytical Reasoning Section Emerges as Easiest Section Reveals Shiksha Polls

Only two days are left for the ATMA July session exam. The exam draws closer and student sentiments reflect growing confidence in the Analytical Reasoning section. Shiksha conducted an exclusive poll where the majority of the candidates consider the Analytical Reasoning section the easiest among the three sections of the ATMA exam. This perception may be attributed to the logical and pattern-based nature of the questions, which are often seen as more straightforward and scoring compared to the Quantitative and Verbal sections.

ATMA 2025 Last Minute Tips

With the ATMA July 2025 exam approaching, candidates must be going through some anxiety and last-minute nervousness. To lessen the pressure of scoring well in the ATMA exam, we at Shiksha have a list of some ATMA exam preparation tips and strategies that will help you on exam day.

  • Revise Key Topics: For the last-minute ATMA preparation, students should focus on high-weightage topics. For the QA section preparation, students can focus on topics such as Ratio & Proportion, SI/CI, Profit & Loss, Number System, Time, Data Interpretation. For the Verbal Ability section, they can focus on Grammar, Vocabulary, Para‑jumbles, Reading Comprehension, etc. For the Analytical Reasoning section, important topics include Blood Relations, Syllogisms, Series, Coding‑Decoding, Visual puzzles, etc.
  • Practice ATMA Mock Tests and Previous Year Papers: Students should try to take at least one full-length ATMA mock test daily until the exam day to help them tune their speed, highlight weak zones and build confidence. Solving previous year question papers will help the students understand the exam pattern and important topics.
  • Time Management: Students will be given three hours to solve the ATMA question paper, which will carry 180 MCQs. This means students will have 1 minute per question. Each section will have the sectional timing of 30 minutes. Students should use this to plan and prioritize. They should also practice shortcut techniques to speed up calculations and improve accuracy.
  • Review Exam Centre Details: Students should try to visit the allotted ATMA exam centre at least a day before the exam. They should confirm their travel route, approximate time and availability. They need to reach the centre at least an hour before the exam begins.
  • Prepare Documents: Candidates should mandatorily carry a printed copy (coloured) of ATMA admit card 2025. They should also affix a photograph to the admit card as it is an important document to gain entry to the exam centre. They should also carry two passport-size photographs along with the admit card.
  • Be Calm: Students should stay calm and confident. Anxiety can hinder exam day performance.

In the ATMA application form, there is a field in which candidates have to select the cities. They need to select the city of preference in order of 1 to 3. The examination authorities will try to allot the test centre in the city of first preference. Thus, candidates must fill all the three cities carefully. They must choose their home city or city of current residence as the first preference. Once the application form has been submitted, the request for change of the city will not be accepted by the exam authorities.
