Talking about the professional journey of Mr Metri, reports suggest that the newly appointed director of IIM Nagpur has also taught at L&T Institute of Project Management Vadodara, MDI Gurgaon, IMI New Delhi, and BITS Pilani. Mr Metri not only obtained his PhD from IIT Bombay but is also an alumnus of the Government College of Engineering, Karad, and Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
He is currently serving as chairperson of various national institutions, such as the All India Board of Management Studies, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi; AIMA Board of Studies, Bureau of Indian Standards, New Delhi.
