BSM IGNITE 2025: Badruka School of Management Announces Flagship Cross-Institutional Competition

Scheduled for April 12, 2025, this one-day event is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as early-career professionals from across India. The competition is designed to help participants develop and pitch innovative business ideas, with the event culminating in a Shark Tank-style finale in Hyderabad.

The Badruka School of Management (BSM) has officially announced the launch of BSM IGNITE 2025, its annual cross-institutional professional competition aimed at nurturing future business leaders. Scheduled for April 12, 2025, this one-day event is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as early-career professionals from across India. The competition is designed to help participants develop and pitch innovative business ideas, with the event culminating in a Shark Tank-style finale in Hyderabad.

Shark Tank-Style Finale to Cap Off the Event

BSM IGNITE 2025 will conclude with a high-energy business pitch session where the most promising ideas will be presented to a panel of distinguished judges. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial talent, receive valuable feedback from industry leaders, and compete for cash prizes of up to Rs. 1 Lakh.

Student Leadership at the Forefront

This edition of IGNITE is particularly special as it marks the first on-campus, cross-institutional event entirely organized and led by BSM’s Founding Class. The student-led Consulting, Finance, and Entrepreneurship Clubs have collaborated to curate competitions that are intellectually rigorous and industry-relevant. This reflects BSM’s emphasis on leadership, experiential learning, and innovation.

Event Schedule for April 12, 2025

The event will commence with student registrations and on-the-spot registrations in the morning. This will be followed by an opening ceremony, which includes a welcome address and an introduction to BSM and BSM IGNITE by Dr. Prabhu Aggarwal, Dean of BSM. The official inauguration will be conducted by Chief Guest Dr. Bhanu Prakash Reddy Varla.

Participants will then take part in two rounds of on-campus competitions. The event will close in the evening with a formal ceremony and an address by Mr. S. K. Badruka, Honorary Secretary of the Badruka Educational Society, who will share insights on the values that define BSM’s academic philosophy.

Past Success and What to Expect in 2025

BSM IGNITE 2024 recorded over 500 registrations within one month. Ten finalist teams were selected through a rigorous three-stage process, with the winners and runners-up receiving Rs. 1 Lakh and Rs. 50,000 respectively. For 2025, the organizing team anticipates even greater participation and a higher standard of innovation and competition.
