CAT 2025 Exam Fees Changed for General & Other Categories; Registration from August 1!

CAT 2025 exam fees hiked

CAT 2025 exam fees has been increased this year too. According to the CAT 2025 notification released today, this year, CAT fee is INR 2600 for General category candidates and INR 1300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. The fee amount has been increased by INR 100 for General and by INR 50 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Last year, the CAT exam fee was INR 2500 for General category and INR 1250 for SC/ST/PwD. It has been seen that, the CAT exam fees is revised every year.

CAT 2025 Notification Released

Today, IIM Kozhikode released the official CAT 2025 notification announcing the exam date as November 30, 2025. The CAT 2025 exam will be conducted in three shifts like previous years in around 170 cities across India. As per the CAT 2025 notification PDF, the exam pattern and syllabus have remained unchanged. CAT 2025 registration process will begin from August 1, 2025 (10:00 AM) and end on September 13, 2025 (5:00 PM)

Key Points About CAT Fee Payment

• CAT 2025 exam fee is to be paid by credit/debit card or net banking.
• CAT 2025 exam fee is to be paid at the time of CAT application form submission.
• Candidates can fill the form before and pay the fee later, but will have to do so before the CAT 2025 registration last date.
• Once the application window closes, one would not be able to pay the fee and the application will be cancelled.
• The CAT exam fee is non-refundable and will not be refunded to any candidate under any circumstances.
