CAT 2025 registration last date
CAT registration process 2025 is underway and the last date to apply is September 13, 2025. Extension of one week is expected but aspirants should not take any chance and fill the CAT application form 2025 at the earliest. Filling the CAT 2025 application form early is also necessary to get the test city of choice. So, they should not wait till the CAT 2025 registration last date.
CAT 2025 registration process is online and the form is to be filled at the iimcat.ac.in website. Any graduate or those in the final year of the bachelor’s degree programme are also eligible to apply for CAT 2025.
How to Register for CAT 2025?
CAT 2025 exam fee is INR 2600 for General candidates and INR 1300 for SC/ST/PwD candidates. Given below is the CAT 2025 application process:
- Visit iimcat.ac.in website
- Click on fresh registration option and enter details
- Confirm registration with OPT received on phone and email ID
- Go to CAT 2025 application form
- Enter personal and academic details
- Enter work experience details (if applicable)
- Upload photo and signature
- Select 5 test cities for exam centre allotment
- Select courses, IIMs and interview cities
- Review the form and make payment of exam fee to complete the process
CAT 2025 Application: Documents to Upload
The following documents are to be uploaded while filling up the CAT 2025 application form.
- Pass port size photo not older than 6 months
- Scanned signature on a white background
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
- Scribe certificate (if applicable)
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Authorization form (if applicable)
Post the CAT 2025 registration last date, the form correction window will be opened for candidates to edit their test city choices, upload better quality photo and signature. The CAT form correction window will be open for 2-3 days only.

Candidates can select up to 21 IIMs in CAT application form for PI shortlist and admission. There is no cap on selecting campuses. Candidates must however, make an informed choice but first checking CAT cut off, course specialisation and fee of all IIMs and basis that select campuses in the CAT application form. It is best to choose a combination of top IIMs and newer IIMs so that you have wider options for admission.
CAT 2025 application process began on August 1, 2025. The CAT registrations dates 2025 were announced by IIM Kozhikode on July 27, 2025 through the official exam notification. The CAT application process 2025 is being conducted online at iimcat.ac.in website and the registration window is open till September 20, 2025.
