CAT 2024 form correction window is expected to open anytime soon at the iimcat.ac.in website. Candidates who have registered for the CAT exam 2024, will be able to make changes in their application form once the correction window opens. IIM Calcutta, the CAT 2024 convening institute is expected to announce CAT form correction dates 2024 soon.
The CAT 2024 form correction window will be opened for about three days for candidates to edit their photo, signature and test city preference. No other changes will be allowed in the CAT 2024 registration cum application form. It will be a one-time activity and the details mentioned in the form after correction window will be considered final.
CAT 2024 admit card will be released on November 5, 2024 and the exam will be held on November 24, 2024. The CAT test centre mentioned in the admit card will be based on the final selection made by candidates. No change in the test city will be allowed after CAT form correction.
CAT Form Correction Process 2024
There is no fee for CAT form correction. Check below the steps to edit your CAT 2024 application form:
- Log on to CAT 2024 website
- Click on ‘login’ tab
- Enter CAT 2024 User ID and password
- Click on Application Form option
- Go to relevant section (photo, signature, test city) and make changes
- Enter CAPTCHA code and click on continue to complete the process
This year, nearly 4 lakh applications are expected to have been submitted. IIMCAT will soon share the exact data of the number of CAT applications received. Last year, the number of applications received was 3.30 lakh. It was the highest number ever since CAT exam is being conducted.

The schedule of CAT 2024 registration cum application was announced on July 28, 2024 at the iimcat.ac.in website. The notification for CAT 2024 was released at the IIMCAT websites and in all national newspapers. The last date to submit CAT application form 2024 was September 13, 2024 but was later extended to September 20, 2024.
