CMAT registration 2026 is underway and the last date to apply is November 17, 2025. Candidates can pay the fee till November 18, 2025. Those who are still to register for the exam must do so before the deadline to be able to appear for the exam.
CMAT 2026 application form was released on October 17, 2025, along with the official notification. The CMAT exam date 2026 has not been announced but it is expected to be conducted in the third week of January 2026. The exam will be conducted in two shifts in about 120 cities across India. As per the CMAT 2026 notification there is no change in test pattern or syllabus.

CMAT 2026 Registration and Application Process
The CMAT application form can be filled at the NTA website. Check below the process to follow:
- Open CMAT 2026 website https://cmat.nta.nic.in/
- Click on tab ‘Registration for CMAT 2026’
- Go to ‘New registration’
- Enter basic details
- After registration, login to fill CMAT form
- Enter personal and academic details
- Select test cities and upload passport size photo/signature
- Pay CMAT fee and complete the process
The CMAT 2026 exam fee is INR 2500 for Male candidates belonging to General category and INR 1250 for male candidates from reserved categories, female and transgender candidates.
CMAT application fee has been increase for 2025 session. The CMAT fee now is INR 2,500 for male candidates belonging to General category. For women candidates, the fee is INR 1,150. For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe male candidates, the fees is INR 1,250 and for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe women and transgender candidates, it is INR 1,250. For Persons with Disability category candidates too, the CMAT application fee is INR 1,250. The fee can be paid in online mode only, through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI wallets. The fee is to be paid at the time of application form submission. Until the fee payment is done successfully, the application form will remain pending for submission. The CMAT fee is non-refundable and no-transferrable. Thus, candidates must make sure that the fee payment transaction is completed successfully and they receive the acknowledgement in email. If the fee payment is not done until the last date of form submission, the form will not get submitted and the candidate will not be able to appear for the exam.
Once you have submitted the CMAT application form, you cannot edit it. Thus, you will have to fill the CMAT form again by creating a new login ID and paying the fee again. However, if the mistake is in photo, signature or test centre fields, you can correct it at the time of form correction. The CMAT form correction window will be opened for three days after the conclusion of application form submission process.
