Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has conducted IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 or IGNOU OPENMAT XLIX on April 11. The test was conducted in a computer-based mode for a duration of three hours in exam centres located across 106 cities of India. The total number of questions in IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 is 200, which are from four sections. Let us check the IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 exam pattern and the upcoming guidelines here.

IGNOU OPENMAT XLIX Exam Pattern

IGNOU is a three-hour duration test carrying 200 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) from four sections. Each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking scheme. The following table brings the structure of the IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 exam.

The Reasoning section carries the highest weightage of 70 questions, whereas the General Awareness section has the lowest weightage.

The IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 answer keys are expected to be released by the third week of April. Candidates have to check the answer keys properly to calculate their estimated score. In case of any discrepancy, they will have to file for objection. The IGNOU OPENMAT 2021 result is likely to be declared by the first week of May.
