CAT 2025 registration last date
IIM CAT 2025 registration process will end on September 13. The application form submission window will close at 5:00 pm. Candidates must submit their CAT 2025 application form before the last date. The exam will be held on November 30, 2025, in three shifts. The number of test cities for CAT 2025 is 170. Candidates can select upto 5 cities in the CAT application form 2025 for allotment of test centre.
CAT 2025 exam will be conducted by IIM Kozhikode and there is no change in the exam syllabus. The CAT 2025 exam pattern is also expected to remain the same, however, the changes, if any will be known once the official CAT mock test is released.

CAT 2025 Registration Process: How to Apply?
Candidates must fill the form and pay the fees before the CAT 2025 registration last date. Given below is the process to apply for CAT exam:
- Go to iimcat.ac.in website
- Click on ‘new candidate registration’
- Enter basic details and created a user ID
- Use OTP received on phone and email to confirm registration
- Fill the application form with personal and academic details
- Upload passport size photo and scanned signature
- Select 5 test cities, IIMs, courses and interview cities
- Pay CAT exam fee of INR 2600 (INR 1300 for reserved categories)
Candidates must note that the CAT application form will not get submitted until the fee payment is done, so they must ensure they pay the fee and receive the acknowledgement. Those, who have already registered for CAT 2025, can simply login to fill the form and pay the fee.
Candidates can select up to 21 IIMs in CAT application form for PI shortlist and admission. There is no cap on selecting campuses. Candidates must however, make an informed choice but first checking CAT cut off, course specialisation and fee of all IIMs and basis that select campuses in the CAT application form. It is best to choose a combination of top IIMs and newer IIMs so that you have wider options for admission.
CAT 2025 application process began on August 1, 2025. The CAT registrations dates 2025 were announced by IIM Kozhikode on July 27, 2025 through the official exam notification. The CAT application process 2025 is being conducted online at iimcat.ac.in website and the registration window is open till September 20, 2025.

The CAT application fee is INR 2,600 for General, EWS and NC-OBC candidates. For the SC/SCT/PWD candidates, the fee is INR 1,300. Applicants have to pay the fee at the time of form filling.
