IIM Lucknow Placement 2021: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Lucknow has successfully completed its summer internship placement. The highest stipend bagged by students stood at INR 3.4 lakh per month. As per reports, the highest stipend offered this year witnessed a rise of 36 per cent from that of last year's 2.5 lakh per month.
The institute received a total of 567 offers for the batch of 562 students during the summer internship this year. IIM Lucknow has also concluded the summer internship placements for PGP and PGP-ABM courses in which the highest stipend witnessed a rise by 18 per cent from 1.1. lakh to 1.3 lakh per month.
This year, more than 140 recruiters participated in the placements drive, across sectors including consulting, finance, general management, IT or Analytics, marketing and operations, the report stated.
IIM Lucknow Summer Placement 2021 witnessed the participation from organisations such as Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, Adobe, Alvarez & MaINRal, Amazon, Avendus Capital, Axis Bank, Bain & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Citi, Coca Cola, Colgate-Palmolive, Deloitte, Disney β Star, Flipkart, Goldman Sachs, Google, Hindustan Unilever, ITC, JP Morgan Chase, McKinsey & Company, Microsoft, Mondelez, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, PwC and Tata Administrative Services, etc.
The institute also welcomes first-time recruiters such AirAsia, AllianceBernstein, Arthur D Little, Atlassian, Barclays, BD, CDC Group and Kimberly Clark etc.too.
As per IIM Lucknow report, the offers from leading companies in the domains of Investment Banking and Private Equity like ARGA Investment Management, Multiples Alternate Asset Management, Societe Generale, and Standard Chartered, among others, the institute also witnessed the largest line-up of Finance Recruiters,
About 41 per cent of students from the batch has been placed this year with a stipend of more than or equal to INR 1.5 lakh per month while around 92 per cent of the batch was placed with a stipend of more than or equal to INR 1 lakh per month, the institute said.
