Jamia Millia Islamia CDOE has commenced admissions for distance & online courses 2025-26. Apply by Aug 31 (non-entrance) & Aug 21 (MBA, B.Ed.).
The Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), has released its Prospectus for academic year 2025-26 and opened admissions for a wide range of distance and online mode programmes. The prospectus was launched on August 8, 2025, marking the beginning of the admission process for the upcoming academic session.
CDOE JMI currently serves over 20,000 learners across India through its flexible learning programmes.
Courses Offered in Distance and Online Mode for 2025-26
CDOE JMI has invited applications for popular postgraduate programmes including:
MA in Hindi, Urdu, English, Education, Geography, History, Islamic Studies, Political Science, Public Administration, Sociology, and Commerce
MBA and MA in Human Resource Management
Undergraduate courses include:
B.Ed., B.A., B.Com, BBA, BCIBF
The Centre is also offering PG Diploma courses in Guidance and Counselling and Geoinformatics, along with seven Advanced Diplomas in:
Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Public Policy and Governance
International Relations and Global Governance
Educational Media Production
Mass Media (Hindi)
Mass Media (Urdu)
Taxation
Additionally, two new Certificate Programmes have been introduced:
Certificate in Information Technology
Certificate in Computer Hardware and Network Technology
Important Dates for JMI CDOE Admissions 2025-26
Non-entrance test programmes: Apply by 31 August 2025
Entrance test programmes (MBA and B.Ed.): Apply by 21 August 2025

Expanding Reach and NEP Alignment
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mazhar Asif encouraged the CDOE to expand its learner support network nationwide, in line with the goals of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Registrar Prof. Md. Mahtab Alam Rizvi assured full support in increasing student enrollment and enhancing access for marginalised communities.
Dean Prof. Moshahid Rizvi credited the JMI administration’s guidance for enabling the timely release of the prospectus, introduction of seven new programmes, and establishment of two new Learning Support Centres in the last six months. With the addition of new courses and an expanded outreach plan, CDOE JMI reaffirms its mission to deliver quality distance and online education to learners across the country.
