The counselling process for Karnataka PGCET 2020 will commence from December 13 at the designated Helpline Centres across Karnataka. Know the detailed procedure and other information regarding the test here.

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Counselling Process Announced

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the counselling process for Karnataka PGCET 2020. The counselling process will commence from December 13 and will continue till December 17. Candidates with a rank over 17,000 have been shortlisted for the Karnataka PGCET 2020 counselling process. The courses for which the counselling process will be conducted include MBA, MCA, ME, MTech and MArch. The following table brings the rank-wise counselling schedule.

Forenoon Session 1 – 9 am to 11 am. Reporting Time – 8.45 am

 

Forenoon Session 2 – 11.15 am to 1.15 pm. Reporting time – 10.45 am

Afternoon Session 1 – 2 pm to 4 pm. Reporting time – 1.30 pm

Afternoon Session 2 – 4.15 pm to 6.15 pm. Reporting time – 3.30 pm

Karnataka PGCET 2020 Counselling Process

The counselling process for Karnataka PGCET 2020 will be conducted in Helpline Centres located across Bengaluru, Mysore, Ballary, Belagavi, Kalburgi, Shimoga, Mangalore, Bijapur, Dharwad and Davangere.

According to the officials, candidates belonging to General and Reserved categories can attend the counselling rounds at any of the Helpline Centres as per the schedule, but candidates belonging to categories of Non-Karnataka, GATE Qualified, Sponsored Quota and Part-Time Quota will have to attend the process in Bengaluru centre only.

Candidates will have to bring the original copy of the documents and certificates along with the photocopies attested by a Gazetted Officer. In case they are unable to produce any of the document, their candidature will be disqualified by KEA. Following is the list of documents required for the Karnataka PGCET 2020 counselling:

  • Final print out of Karnataka PGCET 2020 application form

  • Fee receipt

  • Karnataka PGCET 2020 mark sheet

  • Karnataka PGCET 2020 hall ticket

  • Class 10 mark sheet

  • Class 12 mark sheet

  • Qualifying degree marks cards of all semesters

  • Degree certificate / provisional degree certificate

  • Study certificate countersigned by BEO as per the format (Only for Karnataka candidates)

  • Work experience certificate (in case of working candidates)

  • Sponsored certificate (If applicable)

  • Caste certificate

  • Income certificate

Candidates allotted a seat in the first round of counselling may surrender the selected seat before the last date of the second and final round of option entry.

The Karnataka PGCET 2020 result was declared on December 6. The exam was conducted on October 13 and October 14.
