MGU CAT 2020 to be conducted on October 6 and 7. Admit card, result and counselling dates to be announced soon.

MGU CAT 2020

The Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam will conduct MGU CAT 2020 on October 6 and 7. The multi-course entrance exam was scheduled on April 25 and 26 but was deferred indefinitely due to COVID-19 pandemic. In order to prevent the loss of academic year, the University has decided to conduct MGU CAT 2020 by following social distancing and COVID-19 related protocol. It will be held at exam centres in Thiruvananthapuram, Kottayam, Kochi, Kozhikode, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai.

The University has also announced that, β€œPG admission under Open-All India quota in various departments and inter school center of the University will be conducted on the basis of marks scored in qualifying examination. For this, marks of the qualifying examination should be submitted as per the time schedule, which will be announced later.”

MGU CAT 2020 registration started on February 15 and concluded on June 15 after multiple extension of deadline due to COVID-19. MGU CAT 2020 admit download, result announcement and counselling dates are expected to be announced soon.

MGU CAT is conducted for admission to MSc, MA, Master of Tourism and Travel Management, LLM and M.Ed. MBA candidates are selected for admission on the basis of CAT/CMAT/KMAT scores.

Post the declaration of MGU CAT 2020 result, the University will conduct course-wise counselling which will include personal interview and descriptive test in case of some programmes.
