Pondicherry University Admissions 2021: Pondicherry University invites applications for MBA (Business Administration) and MBA (International Business) in Pondicherry Campus through University Common Entrance Examination for the academic year 2021-22. Candidates interested in Pondicherry University Admissions 2021 for MBA programme must note that earlier, the University invited applications through CAT 2020 scores for the above two courses. However, this year, the admission for the above two courses will be based on both CAT score 2020 and the University Entrance Score.
“After exhausting applications with CAT score, remaining vacancies will be filled based on university entrance scores,” the official press release published by Pondicherry University reads. The last date for application for the above two courses is August 27, 2021. The candidates who had registered already have to apply with the same registration id by clicking on registered candidates.
Meanwhile, Pondicherry University has launched a new MBA course at its centres in Karaikal and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the academic year 2021-22. According to the official press note released by the University, “the Andaman and Nicobar Islands Study Centre has introduced two new courses, designed to promote the welfare of tribal students living in remote areas.” The varsity further informed that the academic institution has not only introduced a postgraduate course in MBA but has also introduced a postgraduate diploma in biodiversity and animal taxonomy (sponsored by the Zoological Survey of India).
Apart from this, Pondicherry University’s Karaikal centre has also introduced a new MBA course in order to expand and offer management courses to rural students. The university recently released its prospectus titled ‘Towards Excellence’ for the Academic Year 2021-2022, containing the programmes offered, eligibility criteria and other information for applicants.
