TANCET 2021 Announced

Anna University, Chennai has released the notification of TANCET 2021. The entrance exam will be conducted for the admission to MBA, MCA, and ME/MArch/MTech/MPlan programmes in colleges affiliated to Anna University and institutes across Tamil Nadu accepting the scores of TANCET. The MBA and MCA exams will be conducted on March 20 and the exam for ME/MArch/MTech/MPlan admission will be held on March 21. Here we bring the detailed notification of TANCET 2021.

Prior to applying for TANCET 2021, candidates have to ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria for the exam.

TANCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Let us take a stream-wise look at the TANCET 2021 eligibility criteria.

MBA

• Candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognised institute with minimum 50 per cent aggregate

• Candidates belonging to reserved category will qualify with 45 per cent aggregate

MCA

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in BCA or BSc (Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent) with minimum 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for reserved category candidates)

• Candidates should have studied Mathematics in Class 11 and Class 12 or at Graduation and obtained minimum 50 per cent (45 per cent for reserved category candidates)

ME/MArch/MTech/MPlan

• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Architecture or Engineering from a recognised institute with minimum 50 per cent aggregate (45 per cent for reserved category candidates)

• Candidates with BPharm degree or a Master’s degree in a relevant branch of Science or Arts will also be eligible

TANCET 2021 Application Procedure

The application process for TANCET 2021 will be conducted in an online mode. Candidates have to visit the official website of TANCET 2021 and register by entering the mandatory details. After the login credentials are generated, candidates will have to login and complete the application process by filling up the online application form, uploading the requisite documents and photograph and paying the application fee.

The application fee is Rs 600 for General category candidates and Rs 300 for reserved category candidates. The fee can be paid in online mode.

TANCET 2021 will be conducted in paper-pencil based mode in 15 cities across Tamil Nadu. The TANCET 2021 exam pattern has remained the same as last year.
