GCT, Coimbatore has started the TANCET MBA choice filling today. As many as 15365 seats are to be filled across 300+ colleges in Tamil Nadu.
TANCET MBA Choice Filling Started; 15,000+ Seats on Offer
The Government College of Technology, Coimbatore, has started the TANCET choice filling process for TN MBA admissions. Candidates whose names appeared in the TANCET rank lists, released on July 22, are eligible for the MBA choice filling process. After filling the seats under special reservation category, TN MBA counselling process has commenced to fill a total of 15365 seats.
TANCET MBA choice filling process is being facilitated until August 8. Eligible candidates have to pay INR 5000 as the initial deposit to proceed with the TANCET choice filling process. Reserved category candidates have to pay INR 1000 as the initial deposit for TN MBA admissions.
TANCET MBA choice filling process is being facilitated for candidates to shortlist the college and course preference. GCT will allot a seat based on the college and course preference, cutoff ranks, and TANCET ranks allotted to the candidate.

GCT, Coimbatore will release a tentative allotment for MBA admissions on August 9. Confirmation of tentative allotment will be done until 5 PM on August 10. Subsequently, GCT will publish a provisional allotment for MBA admissions based on TANCET ranks on August 11.
TANCET Counselling Process 2024
The online counselling process includes payment of initial deposit by the eligible candidates and completing the choice filling process. Further, GCT releases the tentative allotment, following by confirming the tentative allotment. After confirmation of tentative allotment through TANCET, GCT releases the TANCET provisional seat allotment list.

TANCET 2024 was held on March 9 in an offline mode. Whereas, TANCET 2023 exam was conducted on March 25 in an offline mode. Initially, Anna University notified the exam date for TANCET 2023 as February 25 and 26. However, later, a change in exam name for engineering courses was seen, which led to postponement of the TANCET exam date. TANCET M.Tech exam is now known as CEETA PG. However, the website for both TANCET and CEETA PG remains the same, TANCET. Annauniv. Edu.
TANCET exam is conducted across 15 cities in Tamil Nadu. These cities include:

Candidates must choose one exam city while filling the TANCET application form. An exam centre will be allocated within the preferred exam city.
