There is no qualifying marks in PGCET. However, note that, candidates must get at least 50% marks in qualifying exam (45% marks in QE in case of SC/ST and Category I of Karnataka candidates) to be eligible for admission. As per the Karnataka PGCET exam pattern, each section of the exam for MBA course will have as many as 25 questions. All questions in the PGCET exam will carry one mark each. Candidates have 120 minutes to answer all the multiple-choice questions of Karnataka PGCET exam. It is compulsory to answer all the questions. Candidates will not get the option to select questions in the question paper. The exam is held in offline mode.
No there is no negative marking in Karnataka PGCET exam. Each correct answer will fetch 1 marks. Candidates must answer all question in PGCET exam as guess work may also help increase PGCET score.
