Anna University will close the TANCET 2025 registration window on February 21. Candidates can register online on the official exam website, tancet.annauniv.edu.

TANCET registration for 2025 began on January 24. Candidates can fill out the TANCET application form online at tancet.annauniv.edu. The deadline to apply for TANCET 2025 is February 21. Candidates who have already registered must log in to check if their application has been accepted. Applicants can also visit the official website to check their TANCET application status. Those who fail to correct errors in their uploaded documents or complete registration by February 21 will be ineligible to appear for the TANCET exam.

Anna University conducts the TANCET exam for admission to MBA and MCA courses offered by colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Anna University will close the login window to apply online for the TANCET exam on February 21. TANCET login for registration is available on the official exam website, tancet.annauniv.edu.

All applicants will be issued the TANCET hall ticket by February 8. Candidates will have to download the TANCET admit card and carry a hard copy of the same at the test centre. Anna University will administer the TANCET exam for MBA and MC courses across 15 cities in Tamil Nadu. TANCET exam date for MBA and MCA courses is set as March 22. Candidates applying for CEETA PG to pursue MTech courses will have to take the exam on March 23.

Q: How many exam city preferences can I choose while filling the TANCET application form?

Candidates can choose up to one exam city preference while filling the application form. Anna University allots the exam centre within the preferred exam city or at a the nearest location to the city. However, choosing the exam city preference while filling the form will not guarantee allotment of the exam centre in that particular city. Anna University allocates the test centre considering the best possible comfort of the test takers. Anna University does not entertain any requests for change in the exam centre of exam city.

Q: I forgot to fill the TANCET application form. Can I register by paying a late fee?

Typically, the TANCET application process has a fixed deadline for submission of the forms. It's crucial to note that missing the deadline toi submit the TANCET application forms can result in disqualification from the entrance exam. Anna University does not facilitate any window to complete the registration and submit the form with a late fee. However, Anna University may provide such registration window in the future exam sessions. To know whether late applications are allowed and the process to apply with a late fee, candidates may go through the details available on the official website from time to time. Alternatively, candidates can also contact the TANCET Secretary office or the exam helpline seeking help in the registration deadline.

Q: While registration for TANCET exam, I could not upload my photo. How can I upload one after registration window is closed?

Soon after the TANCET registration window opens, Anna University starts releasing the application status PDF. The TANCET application status PDF comprises the list of test takers who did not upload the images with the correct specifications or who failed to upload any image. Such candidates are allowed to access the TANCET login portal and make the required rectifications. Candidates are allowed to upload a new image with the correct specifications. Candidates failing to use the login to get the correct image uploaded are not issued the TANCET hall ticket.
