BAMS Admission 2025: NCISM Revises Eligibility Criteria, Drops 50% PCB Mark Requirement
BAMS admission 2025 through NEET UG will not require a minimum of 50% scores in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in class 12. The NCISM has revised BAMS admission criteria from session 2025 onwards.
BAMS Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria
As per the latest eligibility guidelines for BAMS admissions, candidates who have passed Class 12 with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Biotechnology are now eligible to apply for the Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) programme. However, qualifying the NEET UG 2025 continues to be a compulsory criterion for admission. Regardless of the subject requirements, NEET UG qualification remains mandatory for securing a seat in recognised Ayurveda colleges in India.
The revised BAMS eligibility criteria will be applicable starting with the 2025 academic cycle. The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) program, governed by the Ministry of AYUSH, is available at various Ayurveda colleges and institutions across India to offer students a professional pathway in traditional Indian medicine.
