DNB Counselling 2020: Dates Revised for the Second Round, Options Filled Declared Invalid
Choices filled for the second round of DNB counselling 2020 are now null and void. NBE will conduct the second round of counselling again owing to the extension in the reporting phase of NEET PG counselling.
The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released a new schedule for the second round of DNB counselling 2020. The authorities have also declared that the options/choices filled by the candidates from June 15 to June 18 will now be considered invalid. Candidates who wish to participate in the second round of DNB 2020 counselling will have to fill new choices according to the revised schedule.
Official notification released by NBE-
The official notification issued by NBE states the decision was taken in light of the recent events with respect to NEET PG counselling. The Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) has extended the last date for reporting to the institute allotted through NEET PG counselling up to June 30. NBE fears that this may lead to seat blocking. Therefore, the second round of DNB counselling 2020 has been rescheduled. NBE will release the schedule for the remaining rounds soon.
