The National Testing Agency will announce theย NEET UG 2026 exam dateย soon. Students who are willing to appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate (NEET-UG) will soon be able to know NEET exam date 2026. As per the latest update, NMC has finalised the NEET UG 2026 syllabus. No changes have been made in the NTA NEET 2026 syllabus. Students must thoroughly check the NEET exam syllabus and start studying as per the syllabus.ย

The NTA released the NEET UG 2026 notification on February 8, 2026. The notification has been released with the information bulletin containing the exam dates and details. Students need to go through the notification before filling out the NEET UG form 2026.
The NTA has not released the NEET 2026 exam city list yet. The number of exam cities will be known after the release of NEET notification 2026. However, the NTA removed five cities from the list in 2025. The five cities which were removed from the NEET exam city list were Surampelam (Andhra Pradesh), Deoghar (Madhya Pradesh), Basar (Arunachal Pradesh), Mamit (Mizoram) and Kiphrie (Nagaland).
The duration of NEET exam is three hours. The exam timing is 2 PM to 5 PM. Test takers needed to report to the exam centre latest by 1 PM. They could not leave the exam hall before 5 PM.
Students must also note that NTA has asked candidates to update their Aadhaar cards, UDID card and category certificate before filling the NEET registration form 2026. Hence, students must do the needful at the earliest to avoid missing appearing for the NEET exam 2026.

Students must follow the below points to crack NEET UG 2026 with good marks and get admission in AIIMS and other premier institutions:ย
- Days 1โ30: Check the NEET UG 2026 syllabus and practice all important topics from the NCERT textbooks.
- Days 31โ60: Solve chapter-wise NEET UG 2025 previous year questions and clarify weak concepts.
- Days 61โ90: Take full-length NTA Mock Tests twice a week to improve speed and accuracy of each subject.
- Days 91โ120: Revise formula sheets, Biology diagrams, reactions in chemistry and important physics concepts to create short notes.
