How Many Students Appeared for Re NEET 2026 Exam?

How Many Students Appeared for Re NEET 2026? The National Testing Agency (NTA) has shared important details about the RE-NEET UG 2026 examination held on June 21, 2026. According to the agency, more than 20 lakh students appeared for NEET UG 2026 re exam across the country and abroad. The Re NEET 2026 exam was held at 5,440 examination centres in India and 14 centres abroad. NTA stated that the NEET UG 2026 re-exam was organized with the help of multiple central ministries, state governments, district administrations and security agencies. The examination was conducted in 13 languages, including Hindi and English.

Special Arrangements for PwD and Medical Candidates

NTA has provided several ways of help for students. More than 10,000 PwD candidates participated in the exam. NTA assisted 81 students with serious medical conditions. Students in need were offered assistance throughout the examination process. 

Security Measures Implemented During RE-NEET 2026

The following are the measures undertaken by NTA for NEET UG re exam 2026: 

Aadhaar-based biometric verification. Face authentication systems. CCTV surveillance at centres.
Signal jammers. Two-layer frisking process. State Police support at examination centres.
