The Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2025 dates have been revised by the CET Cell Maharashtra. The choice filling process has been postponed to November 29, 2025, 11.59 PM. The seat allotment result will be declared on December 1, 2025.

The institute reporting process will be conducted from December 2 to December 6, 2025. Announcing the revised schedule, the Maharashtra NEET PG 2025 counselling authorities have stated, “The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has revised the schedule for State Quota counselling on 25/11/2025. In view of the revised schedule by MCC, this office has decided to revise the schedule for CAP-1.”

The authorities have announced that the dates for Round 2 will remain the same.

The provisional seat matrix has also been released by the counselling authorities for MD and MS, and PG Diploma courses. Only the registered candidates, whose names have been mentioned in the Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2025 merit list, will be eligible for choice filling and the seat allotment process.

Q:   What is the total duration of Maharashtra NEET PG counselling process?
A:

Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2025 will be held for around 2 to 3 months. Counselling comprises registration to seat allotment result. Around 10 to 15 days usually takes to complete one round of counselling. A total of 4 rounds of counselling is held for Maharashtra NEET PG admission 2025. 

Q:   Can I register directly for the second round of the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling?
A:

No, the registration window for Maharashtra NEET PG counselling opens only before the first round of counselling. Candidates who would not register for the first round of counselling will not be able to participate in the second round. However, last year, registration opportunity was given to candidates for Round 3. Candidates must note that this was the process followed last year. This year, the process may change and candidates may be given an opportunity to register separately for each round of Maharashtra NEET PG counselling. 

Q:   What is the seat intake through the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling?
A:

As per the last year's data, there were as many as 4,784 MD, MS, and PG Diploma seats across medical and dental colleges in Maharashtra. The course-wise segregation of seats will be available once the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra releases the seat matrix for the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling.
