MCC NEET Counselling 2025: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is likely to begin counselling process for admission to 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats across medical and dental college based on National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduates (NEET UG 2025) from next week. The NEET UG 2025 counselling process is likely to begin from July 1, 2025. However, MCC is yet to announce the information about NEET 2025 counselling dates and schedule on the official website. But students may anytime get to know about NEET counselling 2025 start date at mcc.nic.in. 

When Will NEET 2025 Counselling Begin? 

MCC is likely to begin NEET counselling 2025 from July 1, 2025. During a recent Delhi High Court hearing concerning the NEET 2025 examination process, the petitioner's counsel informed that the counselling process for NEET UG 2025 is tentatively set to begin on July 1, 2025, as reported by The Hindu. 

NEET UG Counselling 2025: Documents Required for Counselling Process

Students are required to keep their following documents ready to participate in the counselling process: 

Valid ID Proof i.e. Aadhaar/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Passport Passport-size photographs Caste Certificate (if applicable)
NEET UG Scorecard 2025 Class 12th certificate and mark sheet Class 10th certificate and mark sheet
Provisional Allotment Letter  Any other document demanded by the authorities.  Debit/ Credit card or Net Banking for payment of the counselling fee

For What NEET AIQ Counselling Conducted? 

MCC will conduct the NEET UG counselling 2025 in four rounds of counselling to fill the medical seats for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, 100% MBBS, BDS seats of Banaras Hindu University, 100% MBBS seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, AMU and 15% AIQ seats in DU, I.P. University, VMMC and ABVIMS.

Q:   When did the NEET 2025 counselling process begin?
A:

The NEET 2025 counselling process began on July 21, 2025. The dates for four rounds have been announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which is scheduled till October 25, 2025. Originally, the last date of counselling was October 3, 2025, which was postponed twice due to NRI/PWD candidate requests, and ongoing court cases.  

Q:   What is the mode of the NEET counselling process?
A:

The NEET counselling process is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) primarily in online mode. All the steps of the counselling process, including the registration, release of seat matrix, choice filling and locking, and release of the seat allotment result. Only the last and final round, which is the institute reporting, has to be done in offline mode. Herein candidates who have been allotted seats have to visit the institutes for document verification and complete the admission process by paying the requisite fee amount.
