Medical Super Specialty Courses 2021 to start from April 18, 2022: NMC
The National Medical Commission (NMC) has notified that the Academic Year 2021 for Super Specialty Courses will start on April 18, 2022, and will complete by March 31, 2025.
Following an unprecedented delay in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Super Speciality Courses NEET SS 2021 Counselling and subsequent admissions, National Medical Commission has notified that the Academic Year 2021 for Super Specialty Courses will start from April 18, 2022, and will complete by March 31, 2025.
NMC's notification reads, "There has been a delay in the starting of the Super Specialty Courses on account of the Covid pandemic in the year 2021. Therefore, the National Medical Commission has decided that the academic session for the Super Specialty Courses for the year 2021 shall commence on 18th April 2022. The academic curriculum of the Super Specialty Courses shall be completed by 31st March 2025. However, the postgraduate students should complete the required period of 36 months to complete the course."
MCC adds more seats to Round 1 NEET SS 2021 Counselling
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) of DGHS had paused the choice filling process for Round 1 NEET SS 2021 Counselling as it was adding more seats to Round 1. The seats that have been added are - One Cardiology seat in Sri Sri Holistic Hospital, #1-2-49/13b, Nizampet Road, Hydernagar, Kukatpally, Medchal, Telangana-500072, one Medical Oncology seat at Jawahar Lal Nehru Cancer Hospital and Res. Centre, Idgah Hills, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh462001 and two Critical Care Medicine seats at Manipal Hospital, Sector 5, Vidhyadhar Nagar, Sikar Road, Jaipur, Rajasthan-302013
