NBE releases notification for FMGE 2021 question paper and answer key, says no-revaluation
NBE will not release the question paper and answer key of FMFGE 2021 June session, which was conducted on June 18, and results were announced on June 30. The exam conducting body has clarified in response to the request of candidates.
The National Board of Examination will not release the question paper and answer key of FMGE 2021 June session, the official notification said. NBE has clarified its stand following the email requests of candidates, seeking a copy of the question paper and answer key. They were also requesting the exam conducting body for re-evaluation. NBE has said that content is confidential, proprietary and owned by NBE and it prohibits anyone from reproducing, transmitting or publishing any or some contents of this exam.
βNBE shall not entertain any request for sharing any content of the examination including answer keys/answer sheets,β the official notification said. βThere shall be no re-evaluation or rechecking or re-totalling of responses marked by the candidates. Requests/Queries for re-evaluation/re-totalling shall not be entertained,β it further stated.
FMGE 2021 June session was conducted on June 18 in online mode. The exam is conducted twice a year, in December and June, to provide a license to practice in India. An Indian citizen or OCI who completed their primary medical qualification from foreign institutes will have to clear the exam to get a permanent license from the National Medical Commission (NMC)/State Medical Council (SMC). NBE had declared FMGE 2021 result, comprising candidates' roll number, marks obtained (out of 300) by them, and their qualifying status on June 30.
Earlier on June 8, NBE had announced the dates to issue passing certificates to qualified candidates. Those who scored 50 percent or above marks out of the total 300 were considered qualified in the FMGE 2021. These candidates will be able to collect the provisional or permanent passing certificate from July 22 till August 13. Candidates have to visit in person with original documents to collect the certificate.
