NEET Counselling 2025 State Websites: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the counselling dates for 15% All India Quota seats in Deemed/Central Universities/ All AIIMS Institutes/ JIPMER for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses across India. Students who have qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET-UG) exam in session 2025 will be able to appear for NEET counselling 2025 from July 21, 2025, onwards. The authorities will conduct the counselling process for three rounds of counselling, along with an online stray vacancy round counselling process for all interested and eligible candidates. 

The MCC NEET counselling dates 2025 are available on the official website mcc.nic.in. Nonetheless, the number of rounds may vary based on vacant seats in each programme after each round of the counselling process. The NEET UG counselling 2025 for 15% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses will be conducted by MCC. On the other hand, counselling to the remaining 85% of state quota seats will be conducted by state medical counselling authorities for their respective states.

Q:   When did the NEET 2025 counselling process begin?
A:

The NEET 2025 counselling process began on July 21, 2025. The dates for four rounds have been announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which is scheduled till October 25, 2025. Originally, the last date of counselling was October 3, 2025, which was postponed twice due to NRI/PWD candidate requests, and ongoing court cases.  

Q:   What is the mode of the NEET counselling process?
A:

The NEET counselling process is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) primarily in online mode. All the steps of the counselling process, including the registration, release of seat matrix, choice filling and locking, and release of the seat allotment result. Only the last and final round, which is the institute reporting, has to be done in offline mode. Herein candidates who have been allotted seats have to visit the institutes for document verification and complete the admission process by paying the requisite fee amount.
