NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1 Registration and Choice Filling Ends Tomorrow

The NEET 2025 counselling Round 1 registration and choice filling process is scheduled to conclude tomorrow, July 31, 2025. The registration window will close at 12 pm, and the registration fee has to be paid by 3 PM.

 The NEET 2025 counselling Round 1 choice filling process will be open till July 31, 2025, 11.55 PM. The choice locking window will be open from 4 PM to 11.55 PM. The reset registration window will be available till 10 AM of July 31, 2025.

How to Submit Choices at NEET 2025 Counselling Round 1

The choice filling process for NEET 2025 counselling is stated below:

  • Visit the official website of MCC – mcc.nic.in or directly enter https://mcc.admissions.nic.in/Counseling/Root/Home.aspx?enc=89xw0ctRCXfaXHy3CACizMGeESUPc92SoSpzB/gzd/wSY6DDua8cQKQ+HT29rjmuRXQG2NoF+WHOj6h2WBR++A==
  • Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab and click on ‘Sign in’
  • Enter the NEET UG 2025 Roll Number, Password and Security Pin
  • Click on the link ‘Available Choices’.
  • On clicking the “Choice Filling” icon, the choices as per individual criteria of eligibility would be displayed to the candidate on the left side basket and on clicking the button for the required choice, it will be selected. The seats chosen will be removed from the left basket and added to the right basket.
  • Candidates will have to click on the ‘Save & Continue’ tab.
  • Candidates may change the order of preference of choices by clicking on the Upper Arrow ./button to move up, the Down Arrow button to move down and the Delete button to delete the pre-selected choice of institutes.
  • The choice Interchange (Swapping) can be carried out by selecting appropriate choices as source and destination to enable their swapping and reordering all the choices.
  • If a candidate desires to delete a specific choice or a group of choices, the candidate can click the appropriate box for deletion of the choice. Further, if the candidate desires to delete multiple choices in one go, he/she can click the appropriate boxes for deletion and confirm the same, so that all unwanted choices can be deleted by this operation.

According to the NEET 2025 counselling Round 1 seat matrix released by MCC, there are 26,515 MBBS and BDS seats and 507 BSc Nursing seats.

The NEET 2025 counselling Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on August 3 to August 4, 2025. The institute reporting process will be conducted from August 4 to August 8, 2025.

Q:   When did the NEET 2025 counselling process begin?
A:

The NEET 2025 counselling process began on July 21, 2025. The dates for four rounds have been announced by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), which is scheduled till October 25, 2025. Originally, the last date of counselling was October 3, 2025, which was postponed twice due to NRI/PWD candidate requests, and ongoing court cases.  

Q:   What is the NEET counselling registration fee?
A:

The NEET counselling registration fee varies for different candidate categories. For the AIQ seats and Central Universities, the fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,000 and for the SC, ST, OBC and PwD category candidates, the fee is INR 500. For participating in the NEET counselling process for Deemed Universities, the registration fee for all category candidates is INR 5,000. The registration fee is non-refundable. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee which is refundable. The amount for the General category candidates for the AIQ seats and Central Universities is INR 10,000. For the reserved category candidates, the amount is INR 5,000. For Deemed Universities, the tuition fee to be paid by all category candidates is INR 2,00,000. Those who would not be allotted a seat after the NEET counselling process will be refunded the tuition fee after the conclusion of the counselling rounds.
