The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the NEET 2025 result for candidates whose scorecards were withheld on July 15, 2025, as per the order passed by the Madhya Pradesh High Court. These candidates had filed a petition in the MP High Court stating the inconvenience faced by them at the exam centres due to power outage.

As per the Court order dated July 14, 2025, the NEET 2025 re-test request has been cancelled. Based on that, NTA released the result for these candidates. In the official notification, NTA has stated, “Pursuant to the order dated 14 July 2025 of the Hon'ble High Court of Madhya Pradesh (Indore Bench) in Writ Appeal No. 1842 of 2025 (and connected matters), the results of the concerned candidates, which were withheld earlier, are now being announced.”

How to Download NEET 2025 Scorecard

Candidates have to follow the steps below to download the NEET 2025 scorecard or result:

  • Visit the official website of NEET 2025 – neet.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the link NEET (UG) 2025 Result under the Candidate Activity section
  • Enter Application Number, Password and Captcha
  • Click on login
  • Check and download the NEET 2025 result or scorecard in PDF format

The following information are carried on the NEET 2025 Scorecard:

  • Candidate’s personal details
  • Subject-wise percentile
  • Total marks obtained out of 720
  • NEET 2025 All India Rank
  • Category Rank
  • Cutoff percentile

“The candidates are also advised to check their emails. In case the score cards are not accessible or in case of any difficulty, candidates can also contact 011-40759000/011- 69227700 or email at neetug2025@nta.ac.in,” stated NTA.

The NEET 2025 exam was conducted on May 4, 2025, and the result was declared on June 14, 2025. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will conduct the NEET 2025 counselling process from July 21, 2025, onwards.

On the MP High Court hearing dated July 14, 2025, the division bench conceded that the severe weather on the exam day was unexpected and they were beyond the control of both the NTA and local authorities of the examination centre. The MP High Court remarked that the sudden shift in weather caught everyone off guard, and it was unfortunate that students had to appear for the exam amid such unplanned disruptions.
