NEET 2025 Round 2 Counselling Process Extended; Revised Schedule Soon @mcc.nic.in
MCC NEET UG counselling 2025 for round 2 MBBS, BDS admissions has been extended till further notice. The authorities have added 197 additional seats in the round 2 seat matrix for the NEET UG AIQ counselling process.
NEET Counselling 2025 Latest Update: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released two new updates regarding MCC NEET UG counselling 2025 at the official website. Firstly, MCC has extended the NEET 2025 round 2 counselling process till further notice. The authorities have announced that the MCC NEET counselling schedule 2025 round 2 will be announced shortly at mcc.nic.in.
"It is for the information to candidates that the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS is in the process of adding newly accredited seats sent by NMC in the seat matrix of Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025. Hence, the competent authority has decided to extend the schedule of Round-2 of UG Counselling 2025." The official notification reads.
Secondly, the Medical Counselling Committee has added 197 additional UG medical and dental seats for the NEET 2025 round 2 counselling process. The round 2 seat matrix for NEET UG counselling 2025 has been revised with the addition of 197 seats. As per the notification, 9 seats in ESIC Medical College Hyderabad, 158 Deemed/ Paid seats in Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College Belagavi and 30 Non-resident Indian seats in Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College Belagavi have been added.
MCC NEET Counselling 2025 Round 2 Revised Schedule Soon
MCC has announced that the seat matrix has been revised for round 2 NEET counselling 2025. Hence, students must make sure to check the added seats in the NEET UG round 2 counselling process. The authorities have announced that the revised round 2 counselling schedule for MBBS, BDS admission at All India Quota (AIQ) seats will be released soon at the MCC official website, i.e. mcc.nic.in.

The NEET counselling registration fee varies for different candidate categories. For the AIQ seats and Central Universities, the fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,000 and for the SC, ST, OBC and PwD category candidates, the fee is INR 500. For participating in the NEET counselling process for Deemed Universities, the registration fee for all category candidates is INR 5,000. The registration fee is non-refundable. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee which is refundable. The amount for the General category candidates for the AIQ seats and Central Universities is INR 10,000. For the reserved category candidates, the amount is INR 5,000. For Deemed Universities, the tuition fee to be paid by all category candidates is INR 2,00,000. Those who would not be allotted a seat after the NEET counselling process will be refunded the tuition fee after the conclusion of the counselling rounds.
The NEET counselling process is conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) primarily in online mode. All the steps of the counselling process, including the registration, release of seat matrix, choice filling and locking, and release of the seat allotment result. Only the last and final round, which is the institute reporting, has to be done in offline mode. Herein candidates who have been allotted seats have to visit the institutes for document verification and complete the admission process by paying the requisite fee amount.
