NEET UG 2026 Exam Date

National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam 2026 (NEET) tentatively on May 3, 2026. Every year over 20 lakh candidates appear for NEET UG exam to get admission in MBBS, BDS, AYUSH and BSc Nursing courses across India. Students who are willing to appear for NEET UG 2026 exam must ensure they are eligible to appear for the exam.

NEET UG 2026 eligibility criteria will be released by the authorities at neet.nta.nic.in. The eligibility criteria of NEET 2026 will be mentioned in the information brochure. Students must note that no change is expected in the NEET 2026 eligibility criteria. However, in case of any change, students will be able to check the updated eligibility criteria in the NEET UG 2026 information brochure

Who Can Apply for NEET UG 2026?

Maximum Age No upper age limit
Educational Status Must have passed or appearing in the Class 12 (10+2) board exam in 2026.
Core Subjects studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English
Minimum PCB Marks General/EWS: 50% aggregate
OBC/SC/ST: 40% aggregate.
PwD (General): 45% aggregate.
Nationality Indian Citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals.
Attempt Limit No limit
