NEET 2026 Registration

NEET UG 2026: National Testing Agency (NTA) has started registration process for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduates (NEET UG). The NEET 2026 registration is ongoing till March 8, 2026. Students can fill the NEET UG application form 2026 online at neet.nta.nic.in. While filling the application form, students have to enter NEET qualifying exam code, which varies as per educational qualification of students. What is Qualifying Exam Code for NEET 2026? 

NEET qualifying exam code is the code for level of educational qualification. Filling the qualifying exam code is important based on the level of qualification. There are seven exam codes for NEET 2026. Before filling the application form, students must know its types and which one to select to avoid errors here. 

NEET 2026 Registration: Types of Qualifying Exam Codes

The types of NTA NEET qualifying exam codes are provided below: 

Particulars Details
Code 01 For candidates appearing in the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2026.
Code 02 For candidates who have already passed Class 12 (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards/NIOS) and/ or repeating the exam.
Code 03 For candidates who passed an Intermediate/Pre-Degree science examination.
Code 04  For candidates who completed a Pre-professional or Pre-medical examination.
Code 05  For candidates currently in the first year of a three-year Bachelor's degree program (B.Sc.).
Code 06  For candidates who have already passed a B.Sc. degree.
Code 07  For eligible foreign students.
