The types of NTA NEET qualifying exam codes are provided below:

| Code 01 | For candidates appearing in the Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2026. |
| Code 02 | For candidates who have already passed Class 12 (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards/NIOS) and/ or repeating the exam. |
| Code 03 | For candidates who passed an Intermediate/Pre-Degree science examination. |
| Code 04 | For candidates who completed a Pre-professional or Pre-medical examination. |
| Code 05 | For candidates currently in the first year of a three-year Bachelor's degree program (B.Sc.). |
| Code 06 | For candidates who have already passed a B.Sc. degree. |
| Code 07 | For eligible foreign students. |
