The Union Home Secretary chaired the High-Level Review Meeting on June 15 for status on security and logistical readiness for NEET re-exam 2026, which is scheduled to take place on June 21. The meeting was attended by

• Secretaries of Department of School Education and Literacy Secretary, Department of Higher Education; Department of Posts
• DGs of CRPF, CISF, BCAS

Amid all tight security measures, Indian Railways have also been roped in. A railway control room has been set up for hassle-free travel of NEET aspirants for exam day.

The Government is enforcing tight security protocols to ensure error-free conduct of NEET re-exam. These measures are-

• Delivery of question papers through IAF
• Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) to maintain strict surveillance at exam centres.
• Cyber cell has activated a monitoring unit to track online threats related to NEET.

Candidates first need to update and verify bank account details to download the Admit Card for RE NEET 2026. Take the OTP-based authentication and then verify the details using the direct link-

Candidates need to carry the following documents for NEET UG 2026 re-exam-

• NEET admit card copy
• Photo ID proof
• Photograph

As per the latest NEET 2026 re-exam refund update, candidates will receive their fee refund directly into the bank account or the details updated by them on the official website.

Candidates can verify the NEET bank details by using the given process-

• Visit the website- neet.nta.nic.in.
• Click on 'Fee Refund Verification Link'
• Enter login details.
• Complete OTP-based authentication.
• View, verify and confirm bank account details.
• Submit the details.

Candidates must verify the NEET 2026 bank account details first to download the admit card. Candidates need to login to their registered accounts to review and update the fee refund details. The link is active till the re-exam date, that is, June 21.

The Central Government has temporarily blocked #Telegram in India till June 22, 2026 to ensure smooth conduct of NEET re-exam on June 21. The decision comes after several claims on RE NEET paper leak seen spreading through Telegram. 

As per the recent NTA data, over 10 lakh candidates have downloaded the NEET re-exam admit card so far. 

Candidates should follow the given measures if facing RE NEET admit card problems-

• Wait fo sometime and try again.
• Check internet connection. 
• Visit neet.nta.nic.in during non-rush hours.
• Verify ban details first.

As a preventive measure against RE NEET paper leak rumours, the NTA has directed the Telegram to ensure restricted use in India till June 22, 2026, a day after the re-exam.
