NEET SS 2024 to be Conducted on March 29 and 30, 2025
The NEET SS 2024 exam will be tentatively conducted on March 29 and March 30, 2025. The application process and other dates will be announced by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) soon. Announcing the dates, NBEMS stated, “The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) shall conduct the NEET-SS 2024 on 29th and 30th March 2025 at various examination centres across the country. The applicants are advised to refer to the NBEMS website time to time for final schedule of examination to be published in the Information Bulletin for NEET-SS 2024.”
NBEMS announced the NEET SS 2024 exam dates based on the Supreme Court of India directive issued on August 14, 2024. Citing this, NBEMS further stated, “Pursuant to the approval of Post Graduate Medical Education Board (PGMEB), National Medical Commission, vide its letter dated 12.09.2024 and in compliance to the orders dated 14.08.2024 of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, the tentative schedule for conduct of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) – Superspecialty is being notified.”

NEET SS or National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) is conducted by the National Board of Education for admission to various DM/ MCh and DNB courses. It is a qualifying-cum-ranking examination for admission to medical super speciality courses. According to the Indian Medical Council Act, 2016, no other entrance test is valid for admission to these courses. NEET SS is conducted annually in computer-based mode for a duration of two days and two slots.
