NEET UG 2026: NTA Clarifies on Question Paper Security; Urges Students to Ignore Fake Leak Claims

NEET UG 2026: National Testing Agency has assured candidates that all NEET question papers and confidential materials have been delivered safely to their designated centres under strict security arrangements. NTA said that there is no possibility of any paper leak or early access to exam content.
According to NTA officials, entire process from paper setting to transportation has been conducted with the highest level of security protocols. The agency has said that students should not believe any rumours suggesting otherwise, as all such claims are baseless.
NTA has also introduced identity verification measures for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2026. That has made Aadhaar-based biometric verification mandatory at exam centres. As per latest advisory, candidates appearing for NEET UG 2026 will have to undergo biometric authentication using Aadhaar details at Β exam centre on day of exam.
Reassuring candidates, NTA has asked candidates to stay focused on their preparation and avoid distractions caused by unverified information. With exams approaching, students must rely only on official updates.
Fake Claims Circulating on Social Media Regarding NEET Paper Leak
NTA has taken note of several misleading messages being circulated on platforms like Telegram and other social media channels claiming access to leaked NEET question papers. The agency clarified that these claims are completely false and intended to mislead students. Candidates have been advised not to fall for such scams, which often aim to create panic during exam period.
Strict Action Against Misinformation
NTA further stated that it is actively monitoring such activities and is taking strict action against those responsible for spreading false information. Students and parents are encouraged to report any suspicious claims or messages to Cyber Crime authorities or directly to NTA for prompt action.
