NIPER JEE registration is expected to start in April 2026. The exam is expected to be held in June for admission to MS (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech, and MBA (Pharm.) programmes. Read below to know more.

NIPER Joint Entrance Exam registration likely begin in April 2026. The exam is tentatively expected in June 2026. Candidates will be able to register on the official website -niper.gov.in.

Those who wants to take admission to MS (Pharm), M.Pharm, M.Tech, and MBA (Pharm.) courses, can apply for the NIPER JEE 2026. The exam is held every year by the NIPER individual institutes. The exam is of 2 hours duration. The language of the question paper is English. The exam paper has 200 multiple choice questions. For each correct answer, one gets one mark and there is a 0.25 marks deduction for every wrong answer.

This year, there will be a total of 990 seats offered in NIPER (Mohali), NIPER Raebareli, NIPER Kolkata, NIPER Ahmedabad, NIPER Hajipur, and NIPER Guwahati. 

Eligibility Criteria for NIPER JEE 2026

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), B.V.Sc., M.B.B.S., B.A.M.S., B.D.S., or M.Sc. in relevant subjects (Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, etc.).
  • They must have a minimum of 60% aggregate (or 6.75 CGPA) for General/OBC/EWS candidates, and 55% aggregate (or 6.25 CGPA) for SC/ST candidates.
  • A valid GPAT/GATE/NET score is mandatory for M.S. (Pharm), M.Pharm, and Ph.D. programs.
  • GPAT/GATE is not mandatory for foreign nationals, sponsored candidates, or those holding B.V.Sc./M.B.B.S./B.A.M.S./B.D.S. degrees.
  • Generally, there is no upper age limit, but applicants should check the specific program notification.
  • Candidates in the final semester/year of their qualifying degree can apply, provided they submit proof of passing by the deadline.

Steps to fill NIPER JEE Application Form 

Candidates need to follow these steps to fill the application form:

  • Visit official NIPER website - niper.gov.in.
  • Register using a valid Email address and phone number.
  • Fill in the personal details and academic details
  • Upload a recent, coloured, passport-sized photograph and signature. For image uploading, the size should be below 70 KB. It should be in JPEG format.
  • The application fee is different for different categories.
  • Pay application fee by debit card/ credit card/ net banking.
  • Take print out of the filled application form for future reference.

The application fees for NIPER JEE 2026 is expected to be INR 3,000 for General/OBC/PH/NRI candidates and INR 1,500 for SC/ST, per program (M.S./M.Pharm/MBA).
