Odisha NEET PG 2024 Round 3 Counselling Schedule Deferred till Further Notice
Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling dates have been postponed by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Odisha and the revised counselling schedule is expected shortly on the official website i.e. dmetodisha.in.
The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Odisha, has postponed the Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 3 counselling process until further notice. The postponement notice has been published on the official website, dmetodisha.in. While the authorities have not officially provided a reason for the delay, it is believed that the decision was made to align with the MCC AIQ counselling process.
As per the schedule, the Odisha NEET PG 2024 round 3 physical counselling was scheduled to be conducted between February 5 and 6, 2025 followed by the physical reporting at colleges by the candidates between February 7 to 9, 2025. However, with the current postponement, all the aforesaid dates are deemed to be cancelled.
However, the authorities will release the counselling schedule anytime soon. Hence, students must keep their documents ready in order to complete the counselling process. The documents such as a Photo ID card, NEET PG 2024 admit card, NEET PG 2024 rank card, HSC certificate, College leaving certificate, MBBS certificate, Internship completion certificate and others shall be kept ready.

In addition to Odisha, other states have also made changes to their counselling schedules. Maharashtra has delayed the release of its round 3 seat allotment results. Bihar has revised its round 3 admission schedule, while Tamil Nadu has extended the deadline for choice filling and locking. Similarly, Gujarat has extended the choice filling dates for round 3, and Madhya Pradesh has released its mop-up counselling schedule.

A total of 611 seats will be allotted through different rounds of Odisha NEET PG counselling. The exact number of seats will be announced by DMET along with the seat matrix.

It is expected that four to five rounds of counselling will be held for seat allotment to Odisha PG medical admission. The number of rounds of Odisha NEET PG counselling 2025 will depend on the number of vacant seats after each round of counselling. Last year, an additional round of counselling was conducted due to the reduction of the NEET PG 2024 cutoff to five percentile for all categories.
