UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Eight Students Debarred Owing to Submission of Fake Minority Certificates
The District Minority Welfare Officer cancelled the candidature of eight students who submitted fake Buddhist community minority certificates during UP NEET UG counselling 2024 for admission in medical and dental colleges across the state.
"It is hereby notified that the Minority Category (Buddhist Community) certificates submitted by the following candidates admitted to the Minority Category (Buddhist Community) MBBS course seats of Subharti Medical College, Meerut through online counselling of the first round of UP NEET UG 2024 at the Nodal Center Admission Government Medical College, Meerut while completing the admission process have been cancelled by the District Minority Welfare Officer of the concerned district in view of non-compliance of Sections 8 (1 to 6) and 9 (1 to 7) of the "Uttar Pradesh Prohibition of Unlawful Conversion of Religion Act, 2021." Reads the official notification.
The authorities further notified that the admission of the debarred candidates had been cancelled by the Principal, Government Medical College, Meerut (Nodal Centre) owing to the submission of fake documents in the UP NEET counselling 2024.
UP NEET UG Counselling 2024: Round 2 Merit List Today
The UP NEET UG round 2 revised counselling dates 2024 have been announced on the official website. As per the revised schedule, the UP NEET UG round 2 merit list 2024 will be announced on September 20, 2024, including the list of eligible candidates for the round 2 counselling process.

The NEET counselling registration fee varies for different candidate categories. For the AIQ seats and Central Universities, the fee for the General category candidates is INR 1,000 and for the SC, ST, OBC and PwD category candidates, the fee is INR 500. For participating in the NEET counselling process for Deemed Universities, the registration fee for all category candidates is INR 5,000. The registration fee is non-refundable. On the other hand, candidates will have to pay the tuition fee which is refundable. The amount for the General category candidates for the AIQ seats and Central Universities is INR 10,000. For the reserved category candidates, the amount is INR 5,000. For Deemed Universities, the tuition fee to be paid by all category candidates is INR 2,00,000. Those who would not be allotted a seat after the NEET counselling process will be refunded the tuition fee after the conclusion of the counselling rounds.
