Only 2 attempts in JEE Mains 2022 not 4; registration process to start by end of February
NTA will soon release details about JEE Mains 2022 exam dates and registration schedule on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The number of attempts in JEE Main 2022 is likely to get reduced to two. As per various media reports, NTA has decided to conduct JEE Main exam in two attempts this year in April and May. The first session exam is likely to begin from April 10 onwards.
“The number of attempts was increased to four in 2021 due to the second wave of COVID-19. However, as the situation has improved this year, the exam will be held in two attempts. Also, to make the admission process conclude in time, two attempts will be most beneficial”, as per an official from the Education Ministry official
JEE Main registration process will start by the end of February. Application forms will be available online on the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Information brochure with details of exam dates, registration schedule, syllabus, exam pattern, eligibility will be made available on the official website.
Aspirants across the country are taking over social media platforms as soon as the news of a decrease in JEE Main 2022 number of attempts surfaced. However, no official information on the number of attempts or exam date has been announced by the NTA.
