IBPS has postponed the declaration of IBPS result 2019-20 for PO, SO and Clerk due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The new dates will be announced soon on the official website.

Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has postponed the declaration of IBPS final result 2019-20 for PO, SO and Clerk. The official notice issued regarding the same reads, β€œDue to the unforeseen circumstance due to COVID-19, the declaration of results of provisional allotment for PO, SO and Clerk stands postponed until further notice.”

The result for the various exams will be announced separately online on the official website in PDF form. The result will display the roll numbers/registration numbers of selected candidates. Along with the result, the final cut off marks will also be made available category-wise.

How to download IBPS result for various exams?

Candidates can follow the steps below to check the provisional allotment list for various exams.

  • Visit the official website of IBPS
  • Click the link β€˜Provisional allotment list’ on the home page
  • In a new page, the list in PDF form
  • Check your roll number
  • Download the list

The provisional allotment result for IBPS PO & SO is declared based on the performance of candidates in mains exam and interview. IBPS Clerk final result is declared based on the mains exam. Allotment of candidates to any of the participating banks will be done on the merit-cum-preference basis. They are also required to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the respective banks. Letter of appointment and joining formalities are done by the respective banks. For all the exams, the preliminary exam is only qualifying in nature.

IBPS conducts recruitment to various posts like Probationary Officers (PO), Junior Associates (or Clerks), Specialists Officers (SO), Officer Assistant and Officer in affiliated banking institutions including Regional Rural Banks.
