IBPS Clerk Result 2025: The Institute of Banking & Personnel Selection (IBPS) will announce IBPS Clerk result 2025 online for prelims and mains exams. The result will be made available on the official website. The direct link to check IBPS Clerk 2025 result will be provided on this page. Candidates can check their IBPS Clerk results by logging with the registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. Based on the result of IBPS Clerk 2025, candidates are selected for different stages of recruitment process.

IBPS Clerk cut off is announced few days after the declaration of the result. IBPS Clerk scorecard is released along with the cut off. The marks of candidates are normalised to announce IBPS Clerk result.

How to Check IBPS Clerk Result 2025?

Candidates need to follow the steps below to check the result of IBPS Clerk:

  • Visit the official website 
  • Click the 'IBPS Clerk Result Link' on the home page of IBPS
  • Enter the login details, registration number/roll number, and date of birth/password
  • The result status is displayed on the screen
  • Download and take its printout

IBPS Clerk result is announced in the following stages:

IBPS Clerk Prelims Result

The preliminary exam for IBPS Clerk comprises English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The total marks for the test are 100. Candidates are required to qualify in each of the three tests by securing the cut off marks. On the basis of IBPS Clerk result prelims, an adequate number of candidates in each category are called for the mains exam. The preliminary exam is qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in the preliminary exam are not counted for the final merit list.

IBPS Clerk Mains Result

IBPS Clerk Mains Result PDF includes the roll numbers and names of the selected candidates. Marks obtained in the mains exam are considered for final selection. Candidates selected through IBPS Clerk CRP XI exam are recruited to the post of Clerks in any of the 11 public sector banks across the country. In the event of two or more candidates having obtained the same score, merit order is decided as per date of birth (the candidate senior in age is placed before the candidate junior in age), as per the prevailing practice.

The provisional allotment of candidates is subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria of participating banks including proficiency in Local Language of the State and identity verification. Candidates belonging to the reserved category, selected on the basis of norms as applicable to the General Category, have been treated at par with a General category candidate for drawing up the merit list. Such a candidate has not been adjusted against a reserved post.

The mains exam comprised four sections: General/ Financial Awareness, General English, Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude, and Quantitative Aptitude. The total marks for the test are 200. The marks of the mains exam are considered for the final merit list.

IBPS Clerk Final Result

The score obtained in the mains exam is considered for the final selection. The maximum and minimum scores of IBPS Clerk mains exam or final allotment are calculated out of 100 marks. The total weighted scores of the mains exam are calculated by aggregating the scores of all sections.

IBPS Clerk Result 2025: Calculation of Scores

The scores of candidates are calculated in the following manner:

  1. The number of questions answered correctly by a candidate in each objective test is considered for arriving at the corrected score after applying the penalty for the wrong answer.
  2. The corrected scores obtained by candidates are made equivalent to adjust the differences in the difficulty level since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts to arrive at the equated scores
  3. Scores obtained by candidates in any test are equated to the base form by considering the distribution of scores of all the forms
  4. Final scores in each test are rounded off to up to two digits after the decimal point
  5. 1/4 of marks are deducted for wrong answers

IBPS Clerk Normalisation Process

The scores of candidates are calculated based on the normalisation process. Normalisation of marks is done using the equi-percentile method. As the exam is conducted in multiple sessions, the question papers are different for different sessions. Normalisation process is followed to equate the difficulty level of question sets. The corrected scores obtained by each candidate in different sessions are normalised. Scores up to two decimal points are taken for the purpose of calculations. After normalization, final scores are adjusted up to two decimal digits.

IBPS Clerk Cut-off

IBPS Clerk cut off is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates need to secure inorder to qualify the exam and become eligible for the next round of selection process. IBPS Clerk 2025 prelims admit card was released on September 24, 2025. The Mains admit card will be released in November. Candidates can download their admit cards online only by logging with the required credentials.
