CSIR NET Mathematical Sciences Exam Analysis 2021-22: Check Difficulty Level, Student Reaction
CSIR NET 2021 Mathematical Sciences paper was held in the Shift 1 of February 16, 2022. As per the student reaction, the overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate to difficult. Read further to know the detailed analysis and review of the exam.
National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the Mathematical Sciences paper of the CSIR NET 2021 exam on February 16, 2022. The exam was held in the first shift from 9.00 am to 12.00 noon. As per the feedback shared by candidates who appeared for the CSIR NET Mathematical Sciences 2021 paper, the exam was of moderate to difficult level.
The Part A of the CSIR NET question paper 2021 comprised a total of 20 objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs), of which, candidates needed to attempt only 15 MCQs. The questions from Part A were general in nature and were asked from various topics including reasoning, quantitative and numerical ability, graphical analysis, series formation, puzzles, etc.
Part B comprised 40 questions and candidates needed to attempt only 25 of them. The Part C of the Maths paper comprised subject-specific questions to test the knowledge of scientific concepts. Candidates were required to attempt only 20 out of the total 60 MCQs.
Part A and Part B hold negative marking of 25 per cent for wrong answers, that is, 0.5 marks will be deducted in Part A and 0.75 marks will be deducted in Part B for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking in Part C of the Mathematical Sciences paper.
