IBPS result

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has postponed the declaration of result of provisional allotment under reserve list due to the coronavirus till further order. The result has been delayed for IBPS PO/MT-VIII, IBPS Clerk-VIII and IBPS SO-VIII. The notification dated April 1, 2019, with respect to the expiry of reserve list on March 31, 2020 for all the above-mentioned recruitment processes will be modified. The validity date will be informed to candidates in due course of time.

A reserve list to the extent of approximately 10% of the vacancies under each category is kept subject to the availability of candidates. In the event of participating organisations providing further vacancies, provisional allotment is carried out from the reserve list. However, if there is no vacancy announced by the participating organisations during the validity period, candidates under the reserve list will not be considered for provisional allotment. Candidates provisionally allotted under the reserve list are issued letter of appointment by the participating organisations.

Provisional allotment of candidates are done based on business needs of the participating banks and merit-cum-preference. The participating organisations also give due importance to the eligibility criteria while allotting candidates.

For IBPS PO and SO, provisional allotment is done based on mains exam and interview. For Clerk post, provisional allotment is done based on the candidates performance in the mains exam.
