Engineering Service Exam (ESE) 2021 Result was released on August 6. UPSC released the result PDF containing the roll number of the selected candidates. Read further for details.
IES 2021 prelims result was declared on August 7. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) took 18 days to evaluate and declare the result. UPSC released the roll numbers of the candidates in the official Engineering Service Exam (ESE) Result PDF. UPSC will soon release the result with the name of the candidate. IES main exam will be conducted on November 21. UPSC will release the admit card three weeks before the commencement of the exam.

UPSC conducts the IES main exam in offline mode. It is an essay type exam and the candidates need to write answers in the provided answer booklet. The IES main exam is conducted separately for each of the notified streams. There are two essay type papers of 300 marks each and the time allotted for each paper is three hours. The IES main exam pattern is summarised below.

Candidates who clear the main exam will be called for the interview at the UPSC office premises in New Delhi, irrespective of his or her location. The interview carries two hundred marks.
IES Prelims 2021 exam was conducted on July 18 across the nation. UPSC notified 215 vacancies in the official ESE notification. The UPSC will release the cutoff of the exam after the completion of the IES 2021 Exam Process.
