RRB NTPC 2020 recruitment: ECA finalization process extended further
The Railway Recruitment Boards have further extended the process to finalise the Exam Conducting Agency (ECA). The exam dates will be announced after finalisation of ECA.
The Railway Recruitment Boards have further extended the process to finalise the Exam Conducting Agency (ECA). The official notice issued reads, “In view of preventive measures to be taken to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the further extended lockdown period announced by the government, the date of pre-Bid conference, Closing and Opening dates of bids/offers have been revised further and the fresh dates are updated on IREPS website.”
“The pre-bid conference which is scheduled to be held at RRB Chennai’s office may be held through video conferencing depending on the prevalent situation on that date,” the notice reads.
RRB NTPC 2020 exam dates will be announced after the exam conducting authority is finalized. According to media reports, the exam is expected to be conducted by the end of this year.
A total of 35,208 vacancies will be filled through the recruitment exam. A total of 1,26,30,885 applications were received. RRB NTPC selection process includes 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), 2nd Stage Computer Based Test (CBT), Typing Skill Test/Computer Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination.
Successful candidates will be appointed to the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Station Master, etc.
