RRB NTPC CBAT is conducted for Traffic Assistant and Station Master. Candidates need to secure a minimum T-Score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries irrespective of their categories.This exam comprises different test batteries that consist of five to six tests. The questions and answer options are available in English and Hindi. There is no negative marking in CBAT. Intelligence Test: In this test, each problem consists of five figures, four of which are similar in a certain way and one is different. Candidates have to find out the one which is different from the other four.
Selective Attentive Test: This test is the act of focusing on a particular object for a certain period of time while ignoring irrelevant information that is also occurring simultaneously. This is a test to find out how quickly candidates can compare two numbers and decide whether they are the same or not.
Spatial Scanning Test: This test measures how rapidly and accurately candidates can see objects and match them. Candidates need to find out the shortest possible route between any two stations in the less possible time on a given map.
Information Ordering: This is the test of candidates' ability to arrange things in a certain order according to the specific rules.
Personality Test: In this test, candidates are asked some questions to find out their interest, attitude inorder to check their personality. Three options are given to a question, no particular answer is right or wrong. Candidates need to select the one which is appropriate to them. Based on the answers, two separate dimensions of the candidate's personality are evaluated and scores are generated.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test and Typing Test
CBAT is conducted for Station Master and Traffic Assistant while Typing Skill Test is held for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper. In CBAT, candidates are given test batteries consisting of six tests as per the posts. In typing tests, candidates should be able to type 30 words per minute (WPM) in English or 25 WPM in Hindi on the computer without using editing tools and spell check facility.
Document Verification Phase
Candidates equal to the number of vacancies are called for document verification. Candidates equal to 50 per cent of the number of vacancies for various posts are called for document verification.
Medical Test
Before final selection, candidates need to undergo a medical test wherein the railway administration examines their physical fitness so that they carry out the duties as the posts. Visual Acuity Standard is given due importance in the medical test.
RRB NTPC Marking Scheme
RRB NTPC scores are calculated based on the marking scheme prescribed by the examination authority. For the correct answer, candidates score one mark. There is negative marking for wrong answers, 1/3 marks are deducted for incorrect answers. The marks of each session of the test are normalised since the exam is conducted in multiple sessions.
