RRB NTPC Recruitment 2020: Finalisation of ECA after May 3

RRBs have again deferred the tender dates for Exam Conducting Agency (ECA). The new dates will be announced after May 3.


The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have yet again postponed the tender dates of Exam Conducting Agency (ECA). Now, all the processes related to the tender will take place after May 3. The official notice issued in this regard reads, “In view of preventive measures to be taken to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 and lockdown 2.0 till May 3, the pre-bid conference, closing and opening dates of bids/offers mentioned on the notice released on April 4, are further revised. The fresh dates will be updated on IREPS website.”

RRB NTPC exam dates will be announced after the finalization of ECA. According to media reports, RRB NTPC exam will take place by the end of this year.

The ECA will be responsible for conducting multiple stages of Computer Based Test, Computer Based Aptitude/Typing Skill Test, Document Verification and all other related activities.

RRB NTPC admit card 2020 will be released four days before the exam. The link to download the admit card will be made available on the official website. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter user ID (registration number) and password (date of birth). The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.

The first stage CBT is common for all the posts. According to RRB NTPC exam pattern, the test comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. The test paper will have 100 objective type multiple-choice questions. The standard of questions is of Class 10, 12, and graduation level.

RRB NTPC exam is conducted to fill up a total of 35,208 vacancies to the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) posts in various zonal railways and production units of Indian Railways.
