RRB NTPC Admit Card 2024: Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) will release RRB NTPC admit card online separately for CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT, CBTST, Document Verification & Medical Exam. The links to download the admit cards for different stages of exams are made available on the respective region-wise official websites of RRBs. To download RRB NTPC admit card 2024, candidates are required to enter user ID and password. Before the release of the admit card of RRB NTPC, the examination authority releases the city intimation slip 10 days before the exam. In the city intimation slip, candidates can check the test city allotted to them so that they make their travel arrangements accordingly. Q:   When will the RRB NTPC admit card be released?

RRB NTPC admit card is released four days before the exam. The admit card is released on the region-wise official websites of RRBs. To download the admit card, candidates are required to enter user ID and password. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. Prior to the release of admit card, the city intimation slip is released 10 days before the exam. What Details To Check in RRB NTPC Admit Card?

RRB admit card for NTPC has two parts: One is candidates' copy and the other one is RRB copy. The invigilator checks the candidates' copy at the exam centre. The RRB copy is retained by the invigilator. Candidates are advised to keep their copy of admit card till the recruitment process is over. Check the details printed on both the copies of admit card. Q:   Will my RRB NTPC admit card contains information regarding the free travel facility?

A:

SC/ST candidates who opt for free travel facility, RRB NTPC call letter for CBT, CBAT/TST, DV contains information regarding the free travel authority. Such candidates are allowed to book their tickets after they submit a self-attested photocopy of the RRB NTPC admit card and SC/ST Certificate. Candidates need to download their admit cards online. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter user ID and password. RRB NTPC admit card is an important document for the exam without which candidates are not given entry to the examination centre. Candidates need to carry their admit cards along with one photo-identity proof to the exam centre. RRB NTPC admit card carries important information related to the exam. 

 

Q:   What should I write in the space provided for self-declaration in RRB NTPC admit card?

A:

In the self-declaration part of RRB NTPC admit card, candidates are required to write a paragraph saying that the details they have entered in the application form are correct and complete. They should not write the self-declaration in capital letters. Likewise, blank spaces are also provided for signature and left thumb impression. The official notification reads, "Candidates should leave blank spaces provided in the downloaded e-Call letter for writing self-declaration paragraph (as the paragraph will be displayed on the screen during CBT), signature and Left Thumb Impression (LTI) unfilled while coming for the exam." Candidates are required to write the paragraph of self-declaration, sign and affix the left thumb impression at the exam venue in the presence of the invigilator at the exam hall only. After this, they have to hand over the admit card to the invigilator.

  •  Candidates are informed through SMS and email regarding the uploading of RRB NTPC admit card
  • RRB admit card for NTPC is not sent to candidates by post
  • Candidates should read the instructions carefully while downloading the admit card
  • SC/ST candidates who have opted for free rail travel facility, the admit card mentions details about free travel authority
  • Such candidates are allowed to book tickets on the submission of a self-attested photocopy of the e-admit card
  • They need to carry the original SC/ST certificate and one identity proof while travelling 
  • Candidates must bring one colour photograph (size 35 mm x 45 mm) as uploaded during the registration process

RRB NTPC Exam Day Guidelines 2024

RRB NTPC 2024 exam day guidelines announced by the RRBs are given below:

Banned items: Carrying the items such as mobile phones, blue tooth, pen drive, laptops, calculators, wristwatches, pen/pencil, wallet/purses, belts, shoes, and metallic wear including ornaments, etc are prohibited.

Unfair means: Candidates found using unfair means are debarred from appearing in the exam.

Reporting time: Candidates must reach the examination centre one hour prior to the reporting time.

Self-Declaration and Left Thumb Impression: Candidates are required to write self-declaration, affix Left Thumb Impression (LTI) in the presence of the invigilator.

Wearing masks: Due to COVID-19, candidates are required to wear masks while appearing for the exam. 

Social distancing: As per the guidelines issued by the Government of India due to COVID-19, candidates are required to maintain social distancing at the exam centre.

Sanitisation: The exam centre is properly sanitised after the completion of each exam shift.

Scanning of admit card: The examination authority scan the admit card through the barcode available on the same.

Stages of RRB NTPC Admit Card

RRB NTPC admit card is released in five stages. The admit card is released in the following stages:

RRB NTPC CBT 1 Admit Card

The admit card for this stage is issued to the registered candidates for all posts. The stage carries a total of 100 marks. 

RRB NTPC CBT 2 Admit Card

The admit card for the second stage is issued to candidates qualifying the first stage by securing the qualifying marks. This stage carries a total of 120 marks.

RRB NTPC Admit Card for CBAT

CBAT is conducted for the posts of Station Master and Traffic Assistant. RRB NTPC admit card for this stage is issued based on the candidate's performance in the second stage CBT. 

RRB NTPC Admit Card for Typing Skill Test

A:

Yes, there is a minimum qualifying cut off in RRB NTPC exam. The minimum qualifying marks for CBT 1 and 2 for General, EWS categories is 40 per cent, for OBC and SC is 30 per cent and for ST category is 25 per cent. In CBAT, candidates are required to secure a minimum T-score of 42 marks. Besides, cut off marks, candidates are also required to secure the qualifying marks as per their categories. Candidates need to secure the qualifying marks in CBTs and CBAT inorder to qualify the exam. The CBT 1 comprises questions from General Awareness, Mathematics, and General Intelligence and Reasoning. Q:   What is RRB NTPC salary?

A:

RRB NTPC salary is different for different posts. The starting basic salary range offered to undergraduate posts is INR 19,900 to 21,700. While, the graduate post employees are offered RRB NTPC salary in the range of INR 25,500 to INR 35,400. The monthly basic salary for Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19,900 while it is INR 35,400 for Station Master and Commercial Apprentice. Candidates are also entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), pension benefits, and medical reimbursements.
