SBI Apprentice 2021 notification released; application process starts tomorrow
SBI has published a fresh advertisement for recruitment to the post of SBI Apprentice. The previous recruitment, announced last year, has been cancelled. The application process will start tomorrow (July 6).
The SBI exam for Apprentice will be conducted tentatively in August 2021. SBI application fee for Apprentice recruitment is Rs 300 for General/OBC/EWS. The fees are exempted for SC/ST/PWD categories.

SBI Apprentice 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates need to follow the eligibility criteria given below in terms of age and educational qualification.
Age Limit: The age of candidates should be between 20 and 28 years as on October 31, 2020. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Educational Qualification: Graduation from a recognised University/ Institute.
SBI Apprentice Selection Process
Selection of candidates will be done through an online test and test of local language.
Online Test: The online test will comprise questions from General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. The test paper will have a total of 100 questions and the total marks of the test are 100. The duration of the test is one hour. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates are required to score minimum percentage marks on aggregate (For SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates, 5% relaxation available thereon).
Test of local language: The test is conducted to assess the knowledge of specified opted local language. It will be conducted after qualifying the online written examination. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be appointed to the post. Candidates who produce Class 10 or 12 marksheet/ certificate which shows that they have studied the specified opted local language are not required to undergo the language test.
Final Selection: The final selection will be done after verification of eligibility, qualifying in the local language test and medical exam.
Duration of training: Duration of training is of one year.
Stipend/Benefit: Selected candidates will get a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month for one year. They are not eligible for any other allowances/ benefits.
Weightage/Relaxation: Candidates completing their training will be given weightage/relaxation in recruitment of Junior Associates.
